I've been doing business with Tim's Automotive for some years now and I simply will not even consider going to any other automotive repair shop. From the owner Tim, and from all of his people under him, I have always gotten a high level of customer service and caring about both me as a person and my vehicle that can only be described as "Old School", as in the high level of customer service, professionalism, and caring that was common place in the 1970's. Tim is a master in his profession and I have found through the multiple times I have brought my vehicles to him that he absolutely will not compromise on 3 key things, namely, the safety and the quality of the repairs, and giving his customers the very best price he can while maintaining the high standards I've mentioned. Communication with his customers is exceptional. Once he or one of his people gives a deadline for a given repair, if anything starts to disrupt that like a part unavailable or a new problem discovered while repairing the original issue, someone is on the phone to the customer, sometimes Tim himself, updating and arranging to fit the customer's needs. I live out in Fairview, next to Troutdale and Wood Village, and I willingly pass many automotive shops that are cheaper, some with excellent reviews, in order to go to Tim's Auto in Clackamas. Why? Put simply, Tim has earned my complete trust. From my own experiences in coming to him, I know without any doubt that once I bring a vehicle to him, he will ensure that both I and my vehicle are taken care of without me having to worry or fret. And that is a quality that both deserves my loyality, and is becoming more rare as time goes by.
