I took my Ford Escape in to them after being quoted by another repair shop a ridiculous amount to fix my power steering. They fixed it for a significant difference in price, and told me what was actually wrong. They showed me what the problems were and what they wanted to do so that I understood what was happening to my car. I took it in again after my alignment needed to be redone and had some other things checked on it. Each time they have given me a loaner car that works perfectly to get back to Salem. They were also willing to talk directly to my mother so that she understood what was happening as well over the phone. The owner Tim is a kind gentleman who is willing to work with you so that you're safe driving. I would recommend this shop ten times over. They will check your car to see what the problem actually is so that you just aren't replacing parts in hopes of fixing the problem. They treat people like people and not just another way to make a dime.

I have been going to Tim's for over 7 years now and I would not take my vehicle anywhere else! All the staff our knowledgeable and respectful Tim, the owner, and Kim, the front desk manager, are amazing to work with! I know they are never going to try and take advantage of me and are always fair with their pricing. They offer loaner vehicles, which is a big help as a mother of 2 kids on the go!

I couldn't recommend anyone higher than I recommend Tim's Auto Repair. I was treated with the highest respect and was never pressured to get any repairs that I didn't need. They told me what I needed fixed, and asked me what I wanted done, simple as that. They worked quickly and were so kind to me. It was my first auto repair and they treated me so well, and even charged me much less than the estimate they gave me. They were extremely compassionate towards me and I think they are the best repair shop around. I highly recommend them, they will take good care of you.

I called Tim the owner yesterday and let him know my car broke down and needed a tow to the shop asap. He set up a time and came to not only pick me up but pick my car up also. He quoted me a fair price and drew up an estimate for me on all the work that needed to be done. I needed to get to work shortly after we arrived at the shop and he offered me a ride to work and to come get me when my car was ready! My car was ready to be picked up about 4 hours later! They have fair prices, totally awesome customer service and make you feel like they really care about your car. 5+ stars all around on the total experience I am VERY happy. I will be recommending Tim to everyone!

I have always had a good experience at Tim's Automotive. He is honest and does his best to satisfy his customers. I have taken my cars to him for many years for repairs and maintenance. He also found my most recent car for me and I am totally satisfied with it. My dad also took his cars to Tim for repairs.

I had a pre-purchase inspection done on a truck on 12/17/2015, and the service I received was superior. First of all the inspection was FREE even though I had never been there before, and yet it was just as thorough as what the other guys charge at least $100 for! The mechanic was very professional, and he explained his foundings in plain English, very clearly so that I understood everything he said even though I know very little about cars. As if this incredible generosity was not enough, when I asked for a phone number to a cab company to take me to the bus station after the inspection, they gave me a ride! Also free! They even let me use their fax machine for my personal stuff, and this was also free! Unbelievable! I am from out of state, and I have never been to an auto mechanic in Oregon, but this was an outstanding experience to say the least. Thank you, Tim's Automotive Repair! You rock!

Tim was so helpful when my car started experiencing problems after a weekend trip! He got me in as soon as possible and was very honest and upfront about the price of parts and labor. Great work, great service, and I will be going back for any car troubles I may experience after this!
